Michaela is an experienced family paralegal and the owner of Rutherford Paralegal. As an independent contractor with Phypers Law, she focuses on Family Law supporting the lawyers and clients on complex matters including high-conflict cases and domestic violence.
She is an Alberta Registered Paralegal and Certified Legal Coach, committed to improving access to justice. Michaela also serves on the boards of the Alberta Association of Professional Paralegals and the Centre for Public Legal Education Alberta.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, journaling, morning walks, and spending time with her spouse and two cats.
